In the first session, we'll walk through the "in love" concept to better understand what naturally takes place and why God designed it that way. As well as how we can skew it.  We will then discuss what biblical love is and provide a biblical definition of marriage to work from. Then we will go over an overview of a worldly marriage (50/50) vs. a 100% spouse in a biblical marriage model. To wrap up the session, we'll discuss the week's assignment.

In the second session, we will begin by reviewing and discussing the previous week's assignment. We will then discuss the 50/50 way of managing roles and identity, which focuses on managing conflict, vs. the 100% spouse approach, which focuses on creating wholeness and cooperation. We will then discuss the week's assignment. 

At the beginning of the session, we'll discuss the previous week's assignment. We'll then move on to the differing attachment styles of a 50/50 marriage vs a 100% spouse marriage. Depending on the individual couple's needs, we will spend some time problem-solving ways to interrupt unhealthy cycles. Then we will wrap up the session by addressing daily commitments and intentional interactions to improve the relationship. The couple will then choose the topic of the fourth session - finances, sex, or parenting.

At the beginning of the session, we'll discuss the previous week's daily commitments assignment. Then, depending on the couple's decision, we will discuss a 100% spouse view of finances, sex, or parenting. The assignment for the week will depend on the chosen topic.

At the beginning of the session, we'll discuss the previous week's assignment and check in on their daily commitment to improving the relationship. We will then discuss the 50/50 approach to improving the relationship and the basic skills used vs the 100% spouse approach of growing in God's design by creating a shared life vision, increasing quality time together, helping the other reach God’s design, improving depth of connection, and a deeper understanding of uniqueness. We will then wrap up with the week's assignment.

At the start of the session, we'll review the previous week's assignment and check in on their daily efforts to strengthen the relationship. We will then explore the 50/50 approach to growth, which is reactionary, versus a 100% spouse approach, which is intentional and rooted in mutual support. Next, we'll work on creating a marital mission statement and discuss scheduling a follow-up session for the next month.
